Link your Telegram account

Link your Telegram identity to your Bots.Business profile and check that the correct account was connected.

A linked account connects your Telegram identity to your Bots.Business account. It is separate from adding a Telegram bot with a BotFather token.

Connect the account

  1. Sign in to the intended Bots.Business account.

  2. Open Settings → Profile.

  3. Find Linked accounts and tap Add account.

  4. Continue through the Telegram connection opened by the app, using the Telegram account you want to link.

  5. Return to Profile and refresh or reopen it. Check the account name and Telegram ID in the linked-account list.

Use the connection link generated by the app. It belongs to your current account; do not copy another person's connection link or share yours publicly.

If Add account is unavailable

The button needs a connection link from the account service. Reload Profile, check the network connection, and confirm you are signed in. If it remains unavailable, report that specific step through Settings → Support chat.

If the wrong identity appears

Check both accounts: the Bots.Business account currently signed in and the Telegram account that handled the connection. On a phone with several Telegram accounts, the external link can open in a different account than expected.

A previously linked Telegram identity is also required for recovering access without email. Linking does not itself change your email or password.

Linking here attaches Telegram to the Bots.Business account you are already using. To sign in from the login screen, follow Sign in with Telegram; check the resulting Profile before changing bots.
